“It’s An Urban Mardi Gras”

The 2008 Allston Village Street Fair will be held on Sunday, September 14th from 12pm to 6pm following the Brian J. Honan Memorial 5K Race and the Allston-Brighton Parade. The Allston Village Street Fair will take place on Harvard Avenue from Brighton Avenue to Cambridge Street in Allston, MA.  This event is a free and open to the public day of family friendly entertainment, activities, and fun, which attracted thousands of attendees from the entire New England Region in 2007.

The Allston Village Street Fair also sponsors a Philanthropic Objective each year which will be represented by the Haley House in 2008 - www.haleyhouse.org .

This 2008 years street fair will showcase Allston’s thriving art scene with street performers, art exhibits, vendors, and 2 stages of live music on Harvard Ave. featuring over 30 bands who are donating their performances to this amazing cause.

The 2007 Allston Village Street Fair was a huge success and the 2008 years event will be even better. Here are some of the sights and sounds from last years 2007 event.
